Gems buy premium looks. Premium portraits, animated portrait frames, a stained-glass door, and wall, floor and garden patterns that paint for free once bought.
Premium pieces that come alive: a jukebox with its own songs and lights, an aquarium with clownfish, a koi pond, a gazebo, a gilded mirror, a stained-glass panel and a marble statue.
Refresh your tired staff with gems once they have used half their energy — up to three times a day.
More ways to earn gems: streak milestones and a Loyalty Card choice now pay gems.
Changed
Small gem purchases buy with one tap; larger ones ask to confirm.
The music volume is right on the jukebox.
Fixed
A tap on the ground beside a fence selects the ground, not the fence.
Three new tables for two: the Bistro Table (oak on wrought iron), the Marble Table and the Grand Café Table (green marble and brass). The dearer the table, the more guests it draws in off the street.
Every table has its own chairs: rattan bistro chairs, black iron chairs with ivory seats, and brass chairs in emerald velvet.
Guests sit properly in their chairs, and eat, drink and chat at the table.
Changed
The Basic Table is redrawn: a sturdier painted-wood table with a turned pedestal.
The Neon Window is cheaper: 1,800 coins instead of 3,500.
Fixed
Walls, floors and windows no longer look pixelated when you zoom all the way out.
All seven windows are redrawn to sit in the wall: their frames have real depth, you can see the top of the sill, and the pots and flowers on it stand upright.
The Neon Ribbon is now a slim glass neon tube on clips. It is dull glass by day and lights up after dark.
Fixed
Moving a window along the wall no longer slows the game down.
The ? on a pantry card opens a card of its own: today's price, how many are left at the normal price, when the price goes back to normal, and a shortcut to the market.
A pantry item that got dearer today says by how much on its picture. The figure only goes up when you buy, and is back to normal the next day.
On pantry cards, how many you have and the ? now sit on the same line.
Fixed
Market details now lists every café selling a good, not only the cheapest few. Tap Show more listings for the rest, and the count shows them all.
The market's All filter showed 0 when only the Wholesaler was selling.
The Buy button on pantry cards no longer cuts its word short in Portuguese and Spanish.
Tap the Wholesaler's card to open it, like any café's. Choose how many lots you want, see the total, and buy them in one go.
The Wholesaler sells in lots of 25, up to 500 units in one purchase. The price still rises a little with each lot you buy that day, and is back to normal the next day.
The Global Market opens at level 6. Tap Market on the side bar, in the café or in the garden. Buy and sell goods with cafés around the world: garden crops, pantry goods, prep and finished dishes. - Browse shows one card per good at its cheapest price. Filter by Garden, Pantry, Prep, Drinks or Bakery, or search. Open Market details for a good's price history and every café selling it. - Sell sets your own price and quantity. The market keeps a 5% fee when your goods sell, and your coins arrive the next time you play. - My listings shows what you have for sale, how long each listing has left, and what sold. Take a listing down or relist it in one tap. - Buying asks you to confirm the price first, and you can always cancel.
Quick Sell. Sell spare crops and pantry goods to the game right away, at a fixed price. What you cook is sold to guests or to other cafés instead.
The Wholesaler always has pantry goods in big lots on the market, a little above the Shop's price. Other cafés can sell for less.
Pantry goods run low when you buy a lot in one day. Buy more than half of a day's supply of something and its Shop price starts to rise, back to normal the next day. Tap the ? on a pantry card to see how many are left at the normal price. For big amounts, try the market.
Five new quests about the market, from level 6.
You can report a café's name from the market, as you can from Friends.
Changed
Every close button in the game now looks the same.
On phones, the side bar scrolls when its buttons don't all fit.
Logging in, or coming back from the "Still there?" card, a lost connection or turning your phone upright, you could see a crowd of guests walk out, or in, all at once. Guests who came or went while you were away are now simply where they are when you return.
Sharing an update from What's new sent a link that previewed as the newest update, whichever one you meant. Tap the # beside an update's title, or its version, to open it on a page of its own: that link shows that update's own title and card in a chat.
A job that is full no longer shows a Swap button on its own card, which looked like hiring one more. The card now says the limit. To swap someone, tap the arrows on their card.
The Visit button now sits at the same height on every friend's card.
Rewards wait for you, and floors that fit their tiles#
New
Your rewards wait for you. A Daily Request you finished but didn't claim before the new day no longer drops its decoration into your café unasked. It waits in the Shop as a gift, marked with a gift icon, until you tap Claim. Everything else in the reward is still paid for you when the day turns over.
Find what you just claimed. After you claim a decoration, the Inventory button shows a gift icon and opens straight on Stored, where it's waiting. The "Use it" button on Daily Requests is gone.
Fixed
The Concrete Slabs and Circuit Grid floors drew several slabs or squares inside one floor tile, with lines that didn't match the tile. Each tile is now one whole slab or glass square, with its seam on the tile's edge.
Charm answers to your service, and an economy update#
New
Keep guests waiting and your charm feels it. A guest served late now takes a little charm with them instead of adding some. You see it happen: a red number flies to your charm and the counter drops. Serve on time and your charm grows just as before.
Step away and your café keeps going for up to 15 minutes, even in another tab. After that it pauses and asks “Still there?” until you’re back. Guests who leave unserved in the meantime still cost charm.
The biggest room asks for a little less charm, so it still opens at the same point in your game.
Staff, training and machine upgrades cost less, and many pastries and cold drinks now sell for more, so serving your guests pays a bigger part of what your café earns.
The garden shed's second upgrade holds more.

The shop's arrows now work on the first click. Pressing one used to make it jump, and the click could miss.
Made for phones, and a place to keep what you take down#
New
Made for phones. On a phone, the shop, your café, the inventory and orders open in one band along the bottom, with cards that fit their words and buttons. Your coins, the clock, the daily requests, quests, garden work and settings slide in from the right.
Easier to read and tap. One size for text and buttons everywhere, every button easy to hit with a thumb, and the bubbles over your café stay readable when you zoom out on a phone.
Keep what you take down. Taking a piece down now keeps it in Inventory › Stored, ready to place again for free, just as you left it. Change your mind? Sell it from there.
Rewards arrive in your inventory. Décor you win from quests, daily requests, the streak and the Loyalty Card goes straight to Stored. A gift already waiting in the shop shows "Free": press Claim and it joins the rest.
Clearer shop signs. A small present on the Shop button means a gift is waiting, and a red sack means a supply has run out. Tapping the Shop takes you right to it.
A second barista in the biggest café. Once your café reaches its largest size, 13×11, you can hire a second barista. The two share the kitchen and never make the same thing twice.
See what your server is carrying. The dishes on the tray now show over your server's head, the one being delivered in front and the rest waiting behind it, and each dish goes from the tray straight to its guest.
Playing on an iPhone or iPad? A one-time tip on the title shows how to add the café to your Home Screen, where it gets the whole screen.
Fixed
Text and buttons no longer spill out of their cards on small screens.
The garden gate's sign stays on the gate instead of sliding around when a panel opens.
The sound switch in Settings looks right on phones again.
A recipe's card now shows how long it takes on that machine. Upgraded ovens and machines were always faster, but the card still showed the base time.
Your barista now cooks for every waiting order, using every free space on upgraded counters and ovens, instead of preparing one thing at a time.
With several ovens or machines, your barista uses the fastest free one and spreads the work across the rest, instead of piling it onto the first one you placed.
Two servers now share the rounds, the more rested one going first, instead of the first one hired doing nearly all of them.
Daily Requests. From level 3, three of your regulars ask for something small each day: serve some coffees, sow a few beds, earn some tips. Each request shows its reward before you start: coins, sometimes ingredients or paint, and now and then a piece of décor. Don't fancy one? You can swap it once a day.
A streak that shines. Finish all three requests to keep your streak going. Each day in a row makes the requests pay more, and every seventh day brings a prize you can see from the first. Miss a day and the streak starts over.
The Loyalty Card. Every day you finish all three stamps your card, and stamps never run out. Fill the card and pick one of three rewards.
Free pieces. Décor you win waits in the shop marked "Free" until you place it.
Twenty new quests, including the garden's first, so every level up to 20 has something new to aim for.
Everything daily now starts together at 03:00 Brasília time (06:00 UTC): the daily gift, the requests and your friends' help.
Swap a member of staff. Tap the arrows on a staff card to put another candidate for the same job on shift, in one step; the price is on the button. The person you swap out stays yours, off shift, with their name and training, and swapping back to them is free.
Tidier garden cards. A crop's card shows its name, its harvest and one button. Tap the ? on the picture to see the seeds it needs, how many you have and where to get more.
Fixed
Pointing at the garden gate made its sign react as if the gate were the button. Only the sign responds now.
The garden card sat right up against the clock. It now has room to breathe.
On phones, the garden sign could cover the quest list. Panels now always stay on top of it.
More words are now in Portuguese and Spanish: the Plant button, the window, door and paint pickers, and the lighting label.
Rewards gather, then add up. Coins, charm and XP now fly to a small pile under their counter and add to your total a moment later, with a count. After a rush of guests, you see the whole haul arrive.
Tips you can see. A guest's tip flies as its own coins, and tapping your coins shows your tip rate and what raises it: decoration sets and staff.
New painted coin, charm and ingredient icons, and a new sound when a guest pays.
Charm card: your last ten guests as a row of dots — who left happy, who was served late, who walked out.
Station cards: the time sits in the corner and the buttons are bigger. Ingredients come first on the shelf and say how many they make, and a recipe's help card shows the station it is made at.
The garden gate always shows its sign: tap it to go to the garden, and tap it there to come back.
Signing in takes you straight into your café.
Windows now sit in the wall with some depth.
Fixed
Some pictures could fail to load and show as black squares or the wrong drink. They now load, and retry on their own if a download fails.
The "new version available" card was hard to read.
On some phones (for example a Galaxy S23 with the browser bars showing), the side menu ran off the bottom of the screen.
Guests sitting away from a lamp were described as "in the dark" even at noon. The card now says what it means: no lamp nearby.
A few Spanish and Portuguese words were still in English, and some translations were improved.
A room that failed to redraw could go blank; it now redraws plainly instead.
