Planting Season

Planting is quicker: a ring of seeds opens right on the bed, one sweep sows a row, and Replant all brings every crop back. Storms sound like storms now, with the music silent, the wind howling and thunder you can hear.

New

Tap an empty bed and its crops fan out around it, the last one you grew first and lit. Tap one to sow it, and that crop stays in your hand for the next bed.

With a crop in hand, tap or drag across empty beds to sow each one as you pass. A golden trail follows your finger. Tap Done, or anywhere off the beds, to put the seed away.

The ring's first bubble gives every empty bed its last crop back, as far as your seed goes. Empty beds now show a faint picture of what grew there, so you can see at a glance what comes next.

When a storm rolls in, the music falls silent, the jukebox too. The wind howls, loose shutters bang, and every flash brings thunder you can hear. Distant bolts come two or three at a time, and a strike's crack hushes everything around it. The sky goes darker, gusts tear across the street, and trees bow to the wind.

• One Rain Barrel. A garden has one barrel now, and it holds 12 water. Had more than one? The extras come back to you as coins.
• Rain fills it faster. While it rains, the barrel gains water every few minutes, and a little card on its rim shows how full it is and how close the next water is.
• Growth dial. Tap a growing bed to see its crop fill a ring, with the time left and the time it's ready.
• Pranks you can hear. Snails squelch, crows caw, confetti pops: every prank lands with its own sound, and cleaning one up comes with a broom's sweep.

• Twin machines. With two of the same machine, your staff now share the work between them, so both wear down evenly instead of one doing everything.
